As our culture becomes more divided by identity politics and tribal loyalties, we can slip into thinking that God views people the way we do—based on labels. Drawing from the story of Jesus being rejected by his hometown and the Old Testament story of the Exodus, Skye shows how God does not conform to our group biases. Instead, he affirms virtue among our enemies and punishes evil among our allies.
